Holy Spirit

After you have received the gift of eternal life, God doesn’t want you to live in doubt. He wants you to know that you have received eternal life and a new relationship with Jesus Christ. This is the theme of the entire book of First John. I would like to look at three undeniable promises of eternal life God has given us:

I recently ventured the clean­up of a hazardous material spill in my kitchen. My thermometer had fallen and broken on the dark linoleum floor, spilling the mercury which dispersed into little rolling beads.

Our 2010 theme for Lancaster Baptist Church is "By His Spirit." Truly, the Holy Spirit's filling is a "must have" for every spiritual leader. Without His ministry in and through our lives, we will not properly fill the leadership roles in which God has placed us. But through the power of the Holy Spirit, we can see Him do the impossible!
