Text: Hebrews 11:32-40

Title: The Victory of Faith

Introduction: What a relief it is to the busy, burdened life to know that there is real victory to be claimed by the life that trusts and follows Jesus Christ.

At the conclusion of Hebrews 11 we are brought to three incredible and absolute victories that will be won when we choose to live through faith in Christ:

I. Victory under Satan’s Crippling Devices—vs. 33–35a

A. Experience God’s supernatural power

B. Experience God’s substantial provision

II. Victory under Satan’s Cruel Hand—vs. 35b-38

A. Experience God’s supernatural peace

B. Experience God’s substantial protection

III. Victory through Satan’s Continued Advances—vs. 39–40

A. Experience God’s supernatural perseverance

B. Experience God’s substantial promises

Conclusion: Live by faith in God. Trust Him and press on, no matter what is standing against you, you can experience victory:

• Over Satan’s crippling devices
• Under Satan’s cruel hand
• Through Satan’s continued advances
