This passage is about how the Lord uses revival to stir a church for His glory.

Conclusion: Revivals are a spiritually necessary working of the Holy Spirit in the life of a church and its members. Revivals are used of God to awaken the saints, strengthen the things that remain, and “resurrect” some things that may have died.
