1. The Emotional Method
The members of the church only give when they see a missionary and become emotional about his ministry.
2. The Budget Method
This is the most common method. When a church takes on a missionary for support, they allocate a percentage of their general income to missions. Usually a church sets apart about 10% of their total budget.
3. The Faith Missions Method
Each member asks God what He would have him give individually toward missions and then commits to give that amount that year. The church then makes its missions budget based upon these commitments.
