Dr. Amsbaugh has served as the senior pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Columbus, Georgia since 1999. He is the author of several books including Keeping the Mission in the Missionary and Pay Per View—The Double Cost of Pornography, both of which are used as textbooks at various colleges.
