After pastoring Fairfax Baptist Temple in Virginia for thirty-five years, Dr. Bud Calvert turned the church over to his son, Troy. He now travels throughout the United States and around the world as an evangelist. As founder of the International Conference on World Evangelism, he is working to turn the hearts of preachers toward church planting and world evangelism. Dr. Calvert and his wife, Mary, have been married for forty-four years, and their granddaughter, Raquel, is a student at West Coast Baptist College.
